What is EMDR?

EMDR Institute- The EMDR Institute was founded by Dr. Francine Shapiro, the originator and developer of EMDR.  On this site you will find a wealth of information on EMDR and resources.

EMDR International Association-  This site provides information and trainings to professionals and the public.  EMDRIA is dedicated to continued research and education in EMDR.  You can access research and learn about clinical excellence in relation to EMDR.

Colorado Legal Services- A non-profit corporation that is dedicated to providing high quality, civil legal services in the pursuit of justice for as many low-income persons and members of vlunerable populations.

Project Safeguard- A non-profit organization that provides safety planning, legal advocacy, and direct court support to victims of domestic violence and abuse, ensuring their safety and survival.

Sexual Assault

Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault- CCASA is a membership organization that promotes safety, justice, and healing for survivors while working to end sexual assault.

Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network- The nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization.

Sexual Assault Interagency Council-  Ensuring consistent, collaborative, and culturally competent response from the criminal justice system, health system and other key partners in response to sexual assault.

National Institute for Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism-  Provides information and research on alcohol abuse and dependency.

Narcotics Anonymous- A society for those who have found that drug use has become a problem in their lives.  Find links to online literature on drug use, as well as times and locations for NA meetings in Colorado.

Alcoholics Anonymous- Links to the Colorado chapter of AA.  Locate your local support groups and find an AA meeting.
